Agreed; recently caught up with this Prom, and well done by all concerned. Plus, Andrew McGregor solved the "happy clappers" problem in the more direct way possible, by asking the audience to hold it until the very end.

(Renee Fleming did the same thing once in recital, just before Alban Berg's Seven Early Songs, in a very polite manner, to tell the crowd "we musicians love applause. But...".)
