Any errors, please let me know. (I know about the Cadogan Hall moving to the RAH on 19th August - a BBC error!)
I'll update the sidebar later.
Best Wishes,
Tevot

I'll update the sidebar later.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

It didn't take a huge amount of work to generate the basic list as fortunately the program I used last year worked after a few slight adjustments. Most of the work went into adjusting the 'jump to' menus! I haven't managed to actually read the contents myself, yet!
I wondered about searches - but of course they're easy to do in a browser such as Firefox. As a result I discovered that 4 Shostakovich symphonies are scheduled - 10,11, 1 and 8. There are also 3 pieces by Weinberg.

I asked for delivery to and collection from the store, but apparently that's likely to be on Friday (online purchases come through a different company!). However, the assistant in the store was very helpful, gave me a copy from stock, got me to sign the paperwork I went with (a printout of my order), and said that she would sort everything out when the copy earmarked for me got delivered to them!
Just a thought ... this time last year someone on the forum reported that their copy of the Proms Guide 2018 didn't come with a fold out poster. Mine did but it arrived later by mail order. Is it perhaps the case that some issues do and some don't? Keep us posted. And the tune ends too soon for us all

Let’s hope some of us will still be around to hear the 2029 season. Anyone know what’s likely to be on?

Clicking on the related prom text (in blue) at the right hand of the list should link back to the text in the list.
Below that there's an index of performers:

According to the blurb writers, Prom 20 is going to, and I quote:
...trace the evolution of Finland's classical tradition...
As for the 2029 Proms, I expect the perennial Bernard Haitink to conduct his own 100th birthday concert. It'll probably have Bruckner in it or something.
Kudos to whoever was involved in getting the single-page Proms listing up so quickly.
