    Yes, it was and won by the same company that does (In)Essential Classics. Each night we are going to be asked what piece of music should follow the first item in the programme.

      One of my gripes when listening to ClassicFM is that they seem to have some pretty lousy studio loudspeakers that are extremely light in the lower-midrange.

          Could they be persuaded to compress Tom Service (presented of tonight`s CBSO Prom along with someone unknown to me)? Into something very very small or even just very very very very quiet?

            The someone unknown to you was the older sister of the soloist in the Elgar Cello Concerto, a very fine pianist in her own right.

              Hadn't you heard? Tom Service is (unfortunately) irrepressible! We had no problem with his co-presenter.
