I was more concerned about the state of his voice than his wardrobe, but high notes excepted he managed it very nicely. The dreadful TV direction managed to miss his flag unveiling, though - twice!Last edited by Bert Coules; 08-09-18, 21:25.

Apart from the park cutaways which still don't really work in TV terms (I simply got annoyed at not being shown what was happening in the Albert Hall) the one thing about tonight that I'd happily see the end of forever is the childish antics during the Sea Songs: hugely embarrassing and horribly intrusive.
