Given the interest in, and importance of the Proms, I do feel the BBC should make an effort to make the broadcasts available on the iPlayer for longer than the standard 30 days. Six months, or even twelve would be ideal, giving perhaps a second chance to listen during the winter. I've managed to listen to every single one for the last few years but it can be really difficult to keep up given the (unnecessary) time pressure.
Concerts so far: Unmissable v missable

My long list of unmissables includes: 5,12,14,15,22,24,26,28,32,33,34,37,41,42, and 44.
Like several other earlier responders, I do compliment the even, high standards achieved by the BBC’s happy band of in-house orchestras, individually and corporately better than ever before, well, at least in my 60 years of listening.

I too on first looking at the prospectus thought 'nothing to hear here', but on burrowing down there's very effective programming which entices the listener to savour the familiar with something new. Not a new idea granted but used to great effect this year. The old premise that provincial orchestras are second best has been well and truly laid to rest. All the BBC orchestras are superb this year and rise to spectacular heights, especially with inspired direction. I make permanent copies of concerts that stand out and this year I've made more than ever before, so far 9,12,14,15,17,22,24,28,42.
Two other factors: a live concert is special knowing you're sharing the performance with others no matter how annoying the clapping between movements and coughing; the superb sound this year from the engineers with not one poor production from those I've heard.
