I disagree, Bbm - having a twenty-year-old Corsa that keeps breaking down and you're sure is going to fail its MOT might be better than having nothing at all, but it isn't really "lucky", and shouldn't stop us trying to get a better model.

Well, Opel started out as a sowing machine company. The Corsa is basically what you get when you take one of those and mount 4 wheels on it. The Proms with all their faults are still a greater achievement than anything Opel ever produced.
