      Did anyone hear this Prom? I happened to turn the radio on and found myself listening to it. I was surprised to find that there was a strong sense of order in most of what I heard. I’ve no idea if this is a good thing or not. I’d be very interested in hearing the experts’ comments.

        Did anybody actually go to this? There was some discussion in the queue along the lines of sharing a taxi after the earlier Prom, but the snag was that there was no guarantee of getting a ticket once we arrived, even if we arrived in time for the concert.

        If the aim was to shut out regular Prommers this was a success; if the aim was to attract a new audience for avant-garde music I should like to know how well it worked.
