A delicious irony that the RAH page for this event said "not suitable for children under 5".

I'm guessing not much interest from those here in 'Proms Extra' then....

But she has other business interests: scroll down for Our Team http://peanutandcrumb.com/team/ . I don't think it's the kind of company that the BBC pays salaries into, but who knows?
The salaries released by the BBC only includes those paid directly by the BBC. The sums paid to people working on programmes produced for the BBC by independent production companies won't have been included. That's why people like Mary Berry, David Attenborough and others like them weren't included. The £900,000 paid to Graham Norton represents only a small part of the sums he receives, as his chat show is not made by the BBC. It's rumoured he gets about £2.2M for all his work for the BBC.

If some of KD's work is produced independently, this could explain why she wasn't on the list

The whole theory of modern education is radically unsound. Fortunately in England, at any rate, education produces no effect whatsoever. If it did, it would prove a serious danger to the upper classes, and probably lead to acts of violence in Grosvenor Square."

Hm. It was nice to see Andrew Davis and Nicola Benedetti among others - and it would have been very good to have heard these people having an intelligent conversation, but it struck me as a very odd programme. KD aside, it was described as a "review" of three concerts, including the Elgar 2. AD admitted he hadn't seen or heard it as he was travelling at the time, so he couldn't comment on the performance. Not sure anyone else had seen much of it either, apart from the clips on the show. Given her involvement in it, an odd decision for KD and guests to "review" the John Williams Prom. And so it went - pretty much inconsequential. For me the whole thing was made immeasurably worse by KD's presentation, but that's more or less a given here. The Stravinsky clarinet pieces at the end are always worth hearing and were, I thought, very well played.
