        Dutoit and the RPO did the Roman Trilogy 3 years ago, so no immediate for it again. Besides, I think that playing Feste Romane (the last, and least, of the bunch) would have added overly undue strain on the orchestra. Plus, the relatively brief running time will leave room for an encore from Kavakos, should he feel inclined, or even the orchestra and Chailly, if they so feel inclined. In the case of the latter, I can imagine that they have an encore planned, maybe a Rossini or Verdi overture.
