I agree - and I was rather alarmed to read this in the Radio Times article about him:

As his singular voice fills out , more romantic repertoire beckons. "I am always learning, I'm excited to open up other horizons, and explore different composers and styles," he says.
I don't want him to learn too much!

It turns out that if copyright holders see one of their videos on You Tube, they are able to put in a "monetizing" claim and receive royalties based on the number of world-wide "views" the video receives. These are paid out of the You Tube advertising revenues, so it's a win-win situation, as we all get to see fascinating archive material and the rights holders get cash in the bank!

Repetition is also useful when learning lines, which appear to be in evidence here...

The Pelly production of La Fille du Regiment was a complete joy . The DVD is musical champagne . I went to see it afterwards with Tonio being played by Colin Lee as in that run Florez was singing on days I could not go . He was excellent too and Dessay was wonderful though as I recall she had made it clear this was her last revival of the show .

Not sure if Florez has been back to sing it with another soprano at the ROH?
