I'm not sure if anyone has flagged this one up - the six winning pieces were performed on Monday at the BBC Radio Theatre by members of the Aurora Orchestra, the concert introduced by and in half the items conducted by Nicholas Collon. It was an impressive 45 minutes of music, all played beautifully in a rather unforgiving acoustic. The six pieces are being broadcast after the Prom each evening this week; tonight was Sam Rudd-Jones' Angry, written for the largest of the combinations.

These were the winners of the various classes, but I can't find details of when the works will be broadcast.
Ed: Details have been added at the end of the main concert programme each night. Tonight Morgan Overton's Two Boys.It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
