The BBC website Proms listing is strewn with errors. Having purchased the Guide yesterday, that makes much more sense. For starters, in Prom 3 (17 July), the website has Haydn's "Paukenmesse" running for a mere 4 minutes, compared with the more logical 42 minutes in the guide. In the second half of that Prom, the first Requiem listed (7 mins) is actually the Pavane (choral version).

In Prom 11, the two works (Tippett and Wagner) are in the wrong order.

Thanks for the info - I'll correct my listing later today.

Much appreciated Andrew. It's annoying that from the proms planner you can't click to see the detail of the prom.

Other areas where the brochure (and the page advertised here) scores over the website are the inclusion of intervals (without having to click on each concert individually) and approximate finishing times for the concerts.

I see that the BBC website has the First Night concert starting at 7.30pm (and accordingly so do Andrew's very useful listing and bsp's calendar entry), as does the BBCSO site. However, the RAH website and the Proms Planner has it starting at 7.00pm. Anyone know which is correct?

Both the RAH and BBC Proms page listings now say 7:00 PM. I'm thus inclined to go with 7:00 PM. I've corrected the Forum calendar for the First Night to 7:00 PM accordingly.

Very strange: with the timings given, the concert will be over before 9pm!

Yes, the BBC and BBCSO listings have been amended now - a strange error, not one I have seen before.
