Proms Single Page Listing and Printables

Although there's less need for it this year, I've thrown together a single-page online listing together with printable pdfs in a new place.

Anything in bright blue is a link, the proms headings linking to the BBC pages.

The 'jump to prom' button brings up a set of links to individual entries. It doesn't work properly yet with all browsers - some hide the first couple of lines behind the header, but scrolling cures it. If I get the time I'll add a 'jump to date' button.

Hovering over the yellow 'ON TV' label brings up a link to a list of TV proms, which I'll try to improve later.

Printable pdfs are linked directly with the appropriate button - no need to go to a remote site.

    Doubtless it's completely smartphone-unfriendly

There are probably several typos / errors in both the online and printable versions, so please let me know if you spot any, together with any other anomalies, and I'll try to correct them.

Thanks Andrew - this is much better than the BBC's efforts. I don't know what you do, but it's much clearer, easier to read and work through.

The only good thing about the BBC's listing is that when you put something in your diary on your phone or MacBook etc, you can add a link and be taken to the full concert listing on the BBC Proms Website, without having to write everything out in the diary slot. But I guess you could put a link in to Andrew's list too.

              Brilliant work Andrew,thanks.
If only there were some Proms worth listening to
I think you've omitted the ones with RVW Symphonies in them

Sidebar links now adjusted for the single page, and printables 13pp (2 cols) and 7 pp (3 cols) lists. Huge thanks to Andrew who - as you'll have gathered - also has the forum upgrade (and brief closure) in hand for this FRIDAY 22nd @ 22.00h.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Well, since you mention him, someone somewhere is probably wondering why no one ever seems to have thought to slot Adams' My father knew Charles Ives (which of course he didn't) in a Prom alongside Lloyd George knew my father, my father knew George Lloyd, attrib. one Tommy Rhys Roberts QC (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lloyd_...her_%28song%29 ) - à propos which I've often wondered if Feldman's I Met Heine on the Rue Fürstenberg (which he likewise didn't) might have been the fons et origo for Laurence Crane's I saw Alexander Balanescu in Safeways (which he might or might not have done), each of which could perhaps partner those two works in said Prom.

Anyway, I digress (although I wouldn't mind if Lloyd's Seventh Symphony were given an occasional Prom airing - what a pity that none of his other eleven seem to live up to it)...

But after all that, yes, many thanks, Andrew! Great work!

I add my thanks to the others for this excellent listing. I haven't diligently checked back but is this the first season in quite a while not to feature a visit from one of the great American orchestras? Last year we heard the Boston and San Francisco orchestras, so it would be a shame if they're now restricting their overseas tours for security reasons.
