Just as I was warming to absence of KJ at the Swansea Prom in the Park. . .

The Scottish one is often better than the others IMO.

Presumably there will be no 'Rule Britannia' from Glasgow?

These seem to have had far less publicity than used to be the case. Also, I used to go the BBC Phil Proms in the Park at Heaton Park and Buile Hill Park, but this Prom in the Park is no longer held - does anyone know why?

Maybe the BBC's policy to have just one in each principality. If that's the case, I would ditch the Hyde Park one (which is right next to the RAH) and move it Manchester or Glastonbury, or St Ives, or Skipton. . .

I always thought that the UK contained only one principality (Wales). Northern Ireland is a Province, England and Scotland Nations.
