    Proms Preview 16.07.2015

Am I the only one thinking this is a complete waste of a R3 evening? We don't need it, we know what the Proms are, thank you very much!

Or should I have listened more closely to the trailers??
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

Completely agree, LMP, and have thought so since they started doing this (whenever that was).

Never mind, had an evening of CD's and there won't be too many of those over the next couple of months.

They remind me of Fairy Liquid adverts.

          Crowcatcher

Something that shows the ultimate depravity of the R3 powers-that-be is the fact that this week's Radio Times Proms pull-out supplement devotes the first three-and-a-half pages to a second rate "pop" singer ( Frank Sinatra).
I wonder what I will be listening to over the next two months????

hardly '2nd rate' IMO ...one of the greats!

Answer to Crowcatcher and Tony here. Bit of déja vu?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

[Must have pressed the wrong key for the grave accent - déjà vu]
