      Wood that I could.
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

You are the mod. You only have to Tallis and we'll stop.

You might get the Byrd though.

...and as we take the last Crumb we might ask what's the Butterworth - it could be German, Hoddinott with Chagrin decided Tippett to go on a Binge. Later they would take off their Coates knowing the Ketelby on. Time for an early Bath!

                    You're all wicked Boyce.

Now, back to Alwyn. That duet from Miss Julie is just stunning.
O Wort, du Wort, das mir Fehlt!

I've only just seen this. Is it already too late for me to Cashian on it with as much Matthewsiasm as I can muster? It's all abit Hollow, eh? - so maybe I should I accept that there's Knussen left to say and just pack up and Goehr way? Not that I'd be Searley about it, though.

That might depend on who "we" are - or "we're", if you prefer - but either we Hedges our bets or we disposes of it all; if the latter, then Bingham in the Rubb-ish bin or flush them down the Panufnik with plenty of Walters.

"Then we shall Finn?" "I see".

Got four stalls tickets for this, this morning.
Goddaughter's first Prom (I'm taking her parents too!).
It was one of her grandmothers' funeral earlier this week, and their summer holidays have been disrupted.
Thought this might be a nice thing to do.
Job alternates with symphony 5 in being a desert island disc, perhaps the chosen top one!
Might be in floods of tears myself: I find it a very moving piece.
Hope to see the poppies at The Tower too.
Looking forward to a great day out.
