    This is just too good.

A rarely performed Wagner overture, a violin concerto from my old professor, and a symphony that I shall never tire of.

Very looking forward to the Mathias concerto.
Nice CM von Weber to start with, and I most likely will have to give the Elgar a miss ( I like the work, but my spare time is resticted unfortunately)

Looking forward to this one tonight. I hope to be 'carried away somewhere else' during the Elgar...

What a wonderful concerto. Perhaps a little drawn out but a great vehicle for Trusler

                    Marvelous Mathias Violin Concerto.
So much energy required by the soloist, never stops, bravo Mr Trussler.
Interesting discussion on the origins of the British symphony during the interval currently,Lewis Foreman and an Elgar scholar who's name I didn't catch.
'When Cipriani Potter met Beethoven',wonderful stuff.

Must be a hot date to not be able to spare an hour for E1!
