    wholeheartedly seconded.
Loved the White "overture" (perhaps a tad too long, but nevertheless), the Barry piece and the Rzewski concerto are bliss.
But for me -but I AM biassed here- Feldman's Coptic Light was the ingredient of this splendid concert I really looked forward to. Coptic Light reminds me time and again e.g. of three other works I cherish, Farben from Schönberg's opus 16 and two "tape-environments" (as Zimmermann called them) Tratto I and Tratto II (both from the last years before his suicide in 1970)

A concert not to be missed! Btw: who said "modern" music is inaccessible?

Rzewski's "Winnsboro Cotton Mill Blues" formed an unscheduled, but welcome nevertheless, encore to the Scottish Chamber Orchestra prom. Still on the iplayer.

Sorry that my second (or rather third) vote for this Late Night Prom is well after the iPlayer 1-week spell, but wholeheartedly agree with PJPJ's assessment, a very imaginative program of contemporary works, and very well performed indeed. My one bit of trepidation was the slow tread start of the Rzewski concerto, as that kind of slow timpani beat passage makes me feel emotionally queasy (like the ends of Tippett's 1st two symphonies, as commented elsewhere). But then the concerto picked up energy and steam in due course.

My guess is that this Late Night Prom probably didn't have a big crowd, in terms of the RAH's capacity. It might have been enough people to fill City Halls, Glasgow, if this program would have been done there (at the same ticket prices), from what I understand of the seating capacity of City Halls, Glasgow (I've never been there).

You are quite right about the size of the audience. I got to the rear of the RAH at about 8pm and fond myself first in the Day Queue. I was joined by another after around 15 minutes later.
