It's usually wall to wall property shows and Father Ted )
Beware: one of the programmes is about James Rhodes................aaghhh!! Now Father Ted lost in the lingerie department for the umpteenth time would be better than that. I must confess that I don't scan the More 4 schedules regularly; it was highlighted in The Guardian.

Lisiekci was apparently filmed in an innovative way. Oh dear! Sounds ominous. (Was it John Scott Whiteley who recorded a series of short programmes of the Bach organ works, complete with bizarrely distracting camera-work?)

A bit of a disappointment - though I've been encouraged to buy his CD of the Etudes to hear him under better conditions. Gimmicky black and white photography and, even worse, a brittle-sounding Yamaha with tuning issues. A shame the organisers didn't sacrifice the trendy direction and hire a Steinway. Good performances though - behind the distractions.

Suddenly recalled there's a telly in the hotel room I'm in - so caught some of this... Yes, the piano sounded SHOCKING at the top...
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Sorry this is a bit late, but I just saw this from American Public Media's SymphonyCast page, where there's another chance to hear this Proms from JL and Sir AP and the Santa Cecilians. FYI, there is a US public radio "framing device", c/o the US host, Alison Young:

I think that you can list for more than one week past the original week of broadcast here in the US, however.
