I believe the Lachenmann will be shown on BBC4 on Sunday 18th August along with all the other "modern" works that have been chopped out of TV broadcasts

Well, via a rather zig zag path i finally saw most of the Lachenmann on iplayer.
A really memorable performance, a conductor who appeared to be loving his work, a genuinely intriguing piece, and a lot of humour.
Would have been great on the telly.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
I am not a number, I am a free man.
