I've been attending The Proms since 1987 (Since you ask, Prom 63. It's been down hill ever since).
Every year I buy a Proms mug, be they good, bad or indifferent in design, and I have a complete set of 1987-2012 except for 1990 which was lost in the Great Shelf Collapse of 1997. I've not had the chance to attend many Proms this year and had put off buying a mug 'til last night.
Disaster! Calamity!
