what on earth is an "annoying" development anyway ?
Do you mean having to actually listen to something you haven't heard before ?

For what it's worth, I have always enjoyed the Sea Songs, and as a Clarinettist, I used to look forward to hearing how the principal coped with the big Cadenza for that instrument. But that was first truncated, and then given the chop completely a few years ago, shortly before the whole Fantasia was Chilcotted in the name of inclusivity.Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.

I would very much like to hear the Sea Songs Fantasia performed again, in its entirety, preferably with the opening Trumpet and French Horn Calls, that were hardly ever performed in full, even when the Cadenza was. How about having Brass players dotted around the hall to perform them? That would be rather fun!Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.
