I once played in a tour doing live electronics with some Jazzers and poets
when we turned up at one gig and there were some people in the audience that the poet folks didn't know they were most surprised

Sweltering under the television lights on a day like these recent days during a Carmina Burana recording was too much the later-to-be-knighted Thomas Allen who collapsed and was replaced by a member of the audience whose story you can read here

We were watching from the gallery having a special interest because Sir Tom as a student at the RAM had sung in the small choir at our wedding. Our Vicar was John Pelling, who is one of the more interesting/controversial figures in art as you will see here

I know from professional experience just how "popular" poetry can be, in a commercial sense...........
mind you, throw in some electro acoustic and some jazz........

              Clive,

I was there too, and as I've commented before I've never seen cellists move so fast !
