    Printable Proms Listings

    The summary at:

is currently not helpful. Has anyone found, or indeed is anyone preparing, a better list?

It's better than nothing, but tells us very little about the performers.

Andrew says he will be preparing one (as last year). I think the sidebar on the homepage still has the versions for 2012 listed. There will also be a printable version.

      This was last year's.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Yes - the BBC has almost, but not quite, saved me a job. Some of their entries are out of sequence (look at the end of the list, for instance) and no performer info. I have set up a blog here which is currently empty. I'll populate it over the next few days and then produce a printable pdf file from it. The entry in the forum sidebar will be updated accordingly.

What a star you are Andrew - many thanks this and for your other unstinting work for the Board.

The single-page blog listing is now complete and is here.

            I've produced some printables here.

The Forum sidebar links will be updated accordingly.

If anybody notices any errors or omissions or is aware of changes, please let me know.

Andrew, many thanks for doing this again this year. You never know, in another few years the Beeb might actually provide something functional themselves!

I can see the obvious advantage of a decent online guide but I've never quite grasped the attraction of mucking about doing your own printout. £5 avoiding Amazon

Thank you for this Andrew - showing the Beeb how it should be done !

It's a sort of public service, isn't it?

The printout/online set is much easier to handle on a day-to-day basis, imo gurney. However, the guide is worth getting every year because it gives approximate timings of works, and that can be useful at other times.
