That's the wonderfully imaginative layout that swaps the letter m and the comma, isn't it? Have fun!

What on earth does pre-booking mean? you can only book something before it happens, so the pre is redundant.

That's the baby... and swaps the 'a' and the 'q' and the 'w' and the 'z'... and insists you hit the 'shift' key first before you can type a full-stop or a number ......

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I sympathise - I had to use it about 12 years ago for a few hours and I still remember the experience...

From my observations, I've often thought that was standard procedure for them ...

We ought to consider ourselves lucky that we are able to give preference to our boys and girls over Johnny Foreigner. Well, the Proms are British, what do you expect?
                Richard Hoddinott???

Just to say, I think the advice to a first time prommer - posted on these boards - is an excellent idea. In my ignorance, I fell foul of one of the 'rules' at my very first Prom, and was treated with such aggression that I've never been a Prommer since (although I attended a couple when I was fortunate to get some seats in a private box).

Apologies for posting here in this thread, but the "advice" thread is closed. And profuse apologies if I broke any rules in doing so...

Off topic, off message, off side - but I don't think it calls for aggression: perhaps you'll print the advice off and have another go this year? - try the gallery!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
