Quick question on the Film Music Prom: was RRB present to take a bow after his Murder on the Orient Express suite in the 2nd half? RRB was at Cadogan Hall the next day, but I didn't get a sense from the archived iPlayer recording that RRB was at the RAH.

While the playing wasn't the most polished, and this may betray my prejudices towards what I expect from a more "pops" type concert than a conventional symphony concert, I enjoyed hearing this one, letting down what hair I have left and just mentally kicking back. There were more than the BBC CO's fair share of bloopers here and there, but it didn't bother me. Great also to have the electric guitar solos in the James Bond theme and the Morricone encore, as nothing less than electric guitar would have done .
