Yes - and I agree with that completely.

Could be all up and running now. Or "some of it" anyway!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

You can now Listen Live (for the time being) and access the weather, and the various schedules all of which came and went yesterday, so may continue to come and go. As for Listen Again I didn't find anything available from Thursday onwards.

I have been trying to listen to Maria Stuarda (Monday evening 14th) but it has been and is still unavailable.

after several attempts I now seem to be able to listen to part 2 of last night's prom via the pop-out player.

My post broadcast facility for listening to Radio 3 appears to be offering me the opportunity to sample only the delights of Radio Lincolnshire's "Pottering about your Garden" and Radio Scotland offerings.

Fingers crossed, iPlayer is working again - I'm catching up with Birtwistle on Hear and Now.

Maria Stuarda became available - for how long I don't know.

                    And Ariadne is, too.

At the moment (07:53 Monday 21 July) there appears to be absolutely nothing available from Radio 3 via the 'Listen Again' facility of the iPlayer. A few hours ago, lots was there. Hopefully normal service will soon return. Apart from the interval feature from Saturday night's Prom, I think I have managed to get up to date with the programmes I wanted to hear 'again'.

its a bit insulting isn't it when the R3 announcers at every available opportunity tell us we can listen again via the website ..... blah blah blah blah. I think that announcement should be banned unless they are 100% sure we can listen again.

On 5 Live there are endless adverts telling us how we can listen on digital, freeview, online, on tablet, on mobile.
they never say AM. the most recent figures I can find show 60% listening on AM.

probably gone down somewhat since then , but even so, its all rather ..er....dishonest?
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

Re. current iPlayer problems and 'pro-forma' announcements. It's probably a case of the left hand not knowing what the right is doing. Everything is in flux. Even the schedule calender is hit (mine 'spontaneously' jumped back a month recently). Now, most programmes 'appear' to be available, but produce error messages when you try to access them. Looks like some pretty severe server problems. It is clear that the problem is being worked on though.

I seem to be back in business now, at least for the time being. Better catch up quickly on weekend programmes!

I note there is now have four weeks to listen to Jazz Record Requests, if that takes your fancy.

The BBC says the technical problems that hit the iPlayer and other online services over the weekend have been resolved.
