How to get downloaded music wirelessly from my Macs to the old Naim Hifi?

If the speakers have spare phono inputs you could connect the lead from the Airport Express to those - though I'd be very careful with the volume control on the iPad etc. when starting replay.

Someone at at the Apple shop could talk you through what you need to do.

I'm going to talk to the guys in the Apple shop about hooking up to the active speakers that I bought to free me from my cumbersome Naim.

However, I could also benefit from linking it to the Naim untill I finally part with it.

Problem is the DIN connections. Let me know how you work around that one.

And cheap will do for the moment - I'll research if better quality is available once I hear what the basic sounds like.

And - amazing performance by amazon: ordered at half-past midnight yesterday, the Airport Express and the cable arrived (from separate sources, by two separate deliveries, the cable by Royal Mail) this morning to my doorstep, by 11am, in the teeth of gales etc.

Amazon staff aren't paid low wages in poor conditions. They are paid above the rate that other German companies pay for similar work
