until last week I had no problems with watching those videos one finds on the BBC News website, but suddenly I only seem to get sound, no vision.

I notice that instead of the iPlayer logo on each video, I am getting a simple triangle. I appreciate that some really are sound only. I have no problems watching any programmes on the iPlayer itself, sound and vision are fine, nor with videos on any other site, the problem only occurs with video on the BBC news website.
Any suggestions please as to what might be amiss ? I use Internet Explorer, there has never been a problem before.
EDIT - update - I have just discovered that if I click on fullscreen, I do get vision
