I have a Hotmail account for the Allotments Association I'm secretary of.

Before the revamp, I'd made a group list of committee members, which has disappeared. I now need to make a group list of all tenants, and I cannot find out how to do this. I can get as far as naming a group, but there's nothing to tell me how to put email addresses into it.

        Can anyone help?

Once you've created a list just drag and drop those contacts you want to add into the list and, hey presto!

But can you tell me how to create a group on the same page as the contacts list? I can't drag anything anywhere unless I've got them on the same page!

(Earlier in the thread someone mentioned a complaint form...I can't even find one of those.)

The feedback form appeared when I "signed up" (or should that be over) to this crazy system...
There might be a link from your inbox. Happy hunting!
                Best regards,
                Jonathan

I haven't solved my first problem, but now I have another.

I realise that with every email I send, I'm sending a photo of the previous secretary, which wasn't there before!

He's very ugly. How can I get rid of him?

I think this will fix it:
                    • Top right of this new system you should see your name with a small but ugly picture.
                    • Click on your name and you should get a drop-down menu with a big ugly picture and including an item "Edit Profile" which you should select.
                    • Now you should have the ugly picture on the left. Click the "Change Picture" link below it.
                    • At last you should have a "Remove" link below the picture. Click it and press the save button, and he should be gone!

I'm rather relieved that I never really used my Hotmail account!

                      Thank you.

I've now tried that, but next to my name (which is in this case the name of the allotments society) there appears one of those all-purpose outline substitute pictures you get when you won't or can't insert a picture of yourself.

It is not the picture of the previous secretary, but even if it were, I don't seem to have to have the option to 'delete', only to 'change' it.

                      .

It puts that silly picture there if there is no image attached to your account. I had to add an image to my account to get the "Remove" feature to appear. I felt obliged to remove it as it was an image of someone else! It seemed to go, but I did have it re-appear when I added a different image to the account to test it just now.

You might get rid of it by selecting Change Picture and then choosing something more appropriate. Then you could have another go with the remove link and maybe it will go.

I suspect that the only people that will see the image are other people on Outlook.com

Everyone I write to from that address is either a present or a prospective plotholder, and I do not want any of them to think that person is me!

But thanks to your advice, I eventually managed to substitute a picture of some waterlilies.

Careful; he's probably on this forum.
