"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
I have a Hotmail account for the Allotments Association I'm secretary of.
Before the revamp, I'd made a group list of committee members, which has disappeared. I now need to make a group list of all tenants, and I cannot find out how to do this. I can get as far as naming a group, but there's nothing to tell me how to put email addresses into it.
I've now tried that, but next to my name (which is in this case the name of the allotments society) there appears one of those all-purpose outline substitute pictures you get when you won't or can't insert a picture of yourself.
It is not the picture of the previous secretary, but even if it were, I don't seem to have to have the option to 'delete', only to 'change' it.
It puts that silly picture there if there is no image attached to your account. I had to add an image to my account to get the "Remove" feature to appear. I felt obliged to remove it as it was an image of someone else! It seemed to go, but I did have it re-appear when I added a different image to the account to test it just now.
You might get rid of it by selecting Change Picture and then choosing something more appropriate. Then you could have another go with the remove link and maybe it will go.
I suspect that the only people that will see the image are other people on Outlook.com
