No problem here, is there a particular album you're having issues with?

Silly question, you are signed in aren't you?

The Hyperion loss is bad news, but there's lots of other recordings to fill the void.

The Queyras Bach Cello Suites, for instance.

        That's fine here.

I think the problem may be that it's only available to people subscribing to the High Quality option - I assume you are subscribing to the lower cost one. There's a note to that effect when I look at the album using their website.

I expect you're right. Thanks for the help.

I had a look at the service but retired in confusion as it all seemed so difficult to use after Spotify. Obviously I've got this wrong as everyone seems happy but can I use it like Spotify ie an on-line jukebox?

Yes, you can either listen on the website, or via their separate application.

Unless you are fairly fluent in French - using Quboz, at least initially, requires extensive and frequent use of Google (or Bing) Translate (as I found out).

If you use Chrome then it will translate each page for you as you browse with minimal input on your part.

Thanks, that is extremely useful. I've been happily using Firefox for many years but will download Chrome and give it a try.

That is amazing - Chrome webpage translation works beautifully. Thank you.

RM is right: the translation facility is excellent and does not make for intrusive or "laggy" browsing. Give it a go.

I use Squeezebox to stream iPlayer and Spotify (as well as my music collection) to my audio system and as, currently, there isn't a plugin for Qobuz that makes subscribing to their streaming serves rather pointless.

However, I've learnt that a 3rd party Squeezebox plugin for Qobuz is currently under development.

How can I play tracks off-line consistently on Qobuz?

I have the cheap subscription but this is included. I have the desktop player. I know how to add tracks to 'musique locale', but this won't make them playable offline automatically. They need to 'download' there, right? Sometimes, after either playing or 'downloading' the track (i.e. playing it on pause until the loading bar is complete), it won't appear in 'musique locale', even if I've added it. And sometimes 'musique locale' doesn't appear as an option when I try to add tracks?!

                          Any help much appreciated.

There is now a working Qobuz plugin for Squeezebox!

See this thread for information: slimdevices forum thread on Qobuz plugin

You might like to know that Hyperion appears to be back on Qobuz, allowing me to listen to Mackerras's Beethoven cycle. Impressed thus far.

I've just noticed that, and was about to post exactly the same information. That's my weekend sorted out!
