Salymap, I have just tried this again, to be sure that what I am saying is correct.

You definitely do not need to sign in. Just ignore the sign-in button.

Click on the link that I and FF gave, that will take you straight to the Celia Imrie page in the iplayer. Now just click on the "i-triangle" logo which is sitting in the picture. That should start the programme.

You may have tried this before ... but try it again, and tell us exactly what happens.

Last word on this boring problem. The 'sign in' is a red herring. I found I couldn't get a picture or sound on iPlayer so signed in, hoping it would cure the problem. Since then my username has appeared but I don't sign in every time. I've tried all ff's links but have decided the problem must be in my computer.
I'm cetainly not paying someone to fix it so will have to leave it for now.

Many thanks for all your suggestions though

I've suffered with this in the past. It was my Flash installation that was corrupt. The Flash installer would not fix it. I removed Flash and put it back and then all was well.

        Instructions on uninstalling are here:

        Then to re-install go here:

        Hope this helps

PS. I've just noticed a typo on Adobe's intructions:
In section 3.3.d it says "Follow step 1 to step 3..."

It should read "Follow step a to step c..."

Thanks old Techie but still nothing. I have a visitor soon who can check what I've done but the Adobe seemed to go well, so it mist be something else.
