... all seems OK here in Shepherd's Bush.

You might like to try -

Everyone TV runs the nation’s free TV platforms – Freeview and Freesat – and leads the evolution of free TV in the UK.

    Another number to try is 08456 50 50 50

Do not select 'channel update' or 'add channels' . . .
For what it's worth: My "menu" doesn't come up with any of that, so I went for "scan channels", the only option available. Bravely pressed the button and the scan finished with 4 analogue and 116 digital channels. Radio Times being no help at all, the problem now is to remember all the new channel numbers, although the remote has a button marked Pro.LIST which does have all the new channels.
Btw. I'm on the Hannington transmitter (W.of London).

I confess that I use my telly very rarely & I'm going to wait til it's all settled down, get myself a Freeview digibox & plug it all in just the once to sort it. Not much help to you, I'm afraid, S_A

            ... but the Radio Times does give the numbers on the freeview pages - eg BBC3 is 7, BBC4 is 9, ITV2 is 6, ITV3 is 10, E4 is 28, More4 is 14, Film4 is 15, etc

I'm no big viewer myself these days, Ams. But it would be nice to feel that after the big switchover we can *still* watch whatever, whenever...

You are probably right, but just noticed that BBC news which used to be 811 is now 59 or summat like that. Can't be a*** to switch on the box again.

I might try Vint's link tomorrow morning when I probably can be a****.

The problem is, following through an online step-by-step when my TV is located miles away in the West Wing!

The jazz drummer John Marshall once said to me, "So, you live in Crystal Palace! It must get pretty cold in winter!"

will the Crystal Palace transmitter now be dismantled, he innocently asked

answer - no, because it transmits radio too

Thanks for this, and for the thread S_A...

I've been cancelling all the pop-up reminders quasi-automatically, thinking 'oh April, that's miles off'

So you have spurred me to retune and yes, everything's working fine again.

Had to reset all the pre-recording timer settings in the PVR which were cancelled in the re-tune process, of course...

I really hope I 'go' before we lose the FM signal for radio. I now have one TV but seven or eight radios, only one of which is digital. I know we can get digital radio on the computer or now TV, but S-A's Crystal Palace gives a good sound here.

I was very fond of a thread I strted on the old boards - " I told my little kitchen FM radio" etc, etc,

                                It ran and ran.
