Any suggestions?
The Firefox browser on my laptop (not Safari, and not on the iMac) won't load any pages. I can see it has updated to 96. whereas the iMac (used less often, and only booted up today to check whether there was a problem) is still on 95.0.2.
As you were. Cleared cache and cookies on laptop .It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.Tags: None

I set Firefox to only update after asking me. And before updating I always copy my firefix profile (contains my bookmarks and settings) so I can re-instate what I had. After I lost it all on one update.
I find it convenient on password storing but at various turns unreliable and exasperating in other respects - hence being cautious about updates, yet I'm not keen to be driven into the arms of Microsoft (Edge) or Google (Chrome).

That said, I have Safari, Ecosia and Duck Duck Go so it wasn't hard to see the problem was with the browser. It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
