I don’t know whether this has been mentioned before, but I’ve noticed sufficient time lags between the actual speech and the related sublitles. Obviously this is unavoidable on live broadcasts such as news or sports commentary. But on Britbox and iPlayer, this shouldn’t happen. On Britbox, the subtitles can be 50 seconds ahead of the speech itself. Yet on iPlayer, the opposite occurs, with the subtitles being delayed by up to 10 seconds. It’s only been like this for a few days.
