After I registered a business account with Microsoft they sent an e-mail, from a someone saying he was my personal contact and suggesting I set up a call with them. The person who rang didn't ask for any information or suggest I did anything.

Of course, it might all be the softening up part of a scam.

Sounds pretty safe, but I was intrigued.
If a bank, for example, ever rings me, I ask for a name and say I'll ring back on a number that's on my credit card or suchlike.
