I've noticed a problem with inputting data into web sites - such as this one - over the last few days. This seems to happen with Firefox, and particularly if a language change is made in Catalina, and then the keyboard viewer is used to input characters. In that case the browser seems to lock up.
This has happened a few times, and is repeatable.
However, switching to Safari clears the problem, so the issue does seem to be an interaction between Firefox and some components in Catalina.
I've not checked this in other browsers, such as Chrome or Edge yet.
Update: Chrome seems OK, but the problem also happens in Edge. It is related to the use of the keyboard viewer to input characters.
