Interesting use for a Chromecast audio.

This post will only be of interest to those that:

a) Own a Chromecast audio

b) Use headphones at some point for listening at home (or I suppose out of home if one used one's phone as a hotspot)

I have discovered the CCA works remarkably well as headphone amp with the headphones plugged directly into the 3.5 mm input. I have bought a small 1000mah powerbank and tied this and the CCA together (with facemask elastic until I can find a rubber band!)

An interesting use for a in my view at least, underrated device!

Alas no, this elastic was from a rather ill fitting example. I seem to have tried many.
