Do you mean the recording device? If so - yes.

I think the reference may be to the multi-user video conferencing app. Friends have been having 'Internet wether' problems using it of late. Too many losses of service due to the heavy traffic.

It is very easy to use. Reportedly it was designed that way to encourage use, the downside being the lack of security verification has led to hacking, or zoom bombing. So far no one has hacked our family conferences, no doubt missing out on people sharing recipes for banana bread..l

I don't find it easy to use at all, though pretty computer savvy. Must be my age! Quality very good though.

There are different Zoom apps. I wonder if we are using the same one.
All I had to do was register with email. Then there are tabs to create a conference or join an existing one. If you create one you are assigned a code which you text to others, who enter it and that is all that is required

"Hacking" seems now to be the equivalent of "not changing the default settings".....those people who really are "Hackers" do something else entirely IMV

Indeed - but at least I don't go around burning down phone masts because some absolute m****ns think it gives them CV-19 - or that seems to be their "excuse" for their anarchistic actions.

                          I am on to this.

We use Microsoft Teams at work. There’s a free version that includes video conferencing, and proper end to end encryption. If I were doing this myself I’d choose the the MS product rather than Zoom - which has been banned in New York schools due to privacy concerns.

Presumably only works on PCs, or is it also cross platform? If the security is better, then I'd perhaps choose that - despite my general concerns about MS.
