    USB printer and Home Hub

We have acquired a monochrome laser printer. It only has USB. If I plug it into the BT Home Hub USB could it appear - and function - as a network printer?

Also, if this works, will some arcane settings be required, or will it simply appear in Mac OS as an available printer?

Looks potentially useful, as can do double sided printing, and it's fast, but would be better if could be used wirelessly. If it's attached to the network wireless operation should be possible.

I could be wrong but I very much doubt it.

I was hoping someone would tell me it could be done!
I could put a NAS on the network with a USB for the printer, but that might present problems by itself. Others have suggested it (the hub with USB port) might work, but there could also be problems. Bi-directional communications may be a problem, and lack of reliable 2-way comms may prevent the scanner from working too.

I suppose I could dig out the NAS unit and see what happens - another can of worms most probably!

Another case of a couple of steps forward and a couple of steps backward.
