Connecting Logitech z906 to Ausus Xonar D2 soundcard...

Dear all

I'd be grateful for any advice on how to connect up the above kit. the default "6 channel direct input cable" that comes with the speakers as far too short for my needs and I've lost the optical adapter that came with my soundcard. I'm fairly techie (at least I think so) but I'm in a wheelchair and have to direct on a non techie person. In this case I can't get a perfect look at the soundcard connections, and the manual is not that clear.

Fortunately, the outlay would not be that great if you took a chance on it. However, it is clearly just an optical cable, so no coax option, which is what I guess you would prefer, if available.
