Did anybody else have this? I could not raise the Forum from about 8.45 onwards this evening.

Yes, I had the same problem.

Yet looking at the contributions of other posters, the forum was very much alive at that time.

Had not noticed this thread. Yes, I emailed Mark to find out what was happening. He said he'd been getting error messages and had contacted FutureQuest. They confirmed a 'brief issue' which by then was clear. Should there ever be a prolonged absence, something can be posted on our Facebook page (no, you don't have to sign up - it would be good to have something to write about I might attempt a synthesis of the views on the River of Music; or just write my view!).
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I noticed it briefly but thought it was because I was out and about with inferior wifi...

Today, it seems particularly sluggish (other sites are fine)
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
