Why?

I used CCleaner yesterday for the first time in ages and now I'm having to log in every time I visit the Forum. I'm also having to log in every time I go on to Outlook despite clicking the 'remember me' button in both cases. In addition, my computer seems to have gone slower. As the icing on the cake, my up arrow key has more or less ceased to function.

What is going on?

CCleaner has most likely cleared away the cookies which enable you to stay logged in. I find that different installations give different results with CCleaner. On this very basic laptop (an Acer AO1-131-C726) I have to log in to this forum, but no typing in needed. Clicking twice (rather then double-clicking) in the user box, then once in the password box, fills them with the requisite data and Bob's your uncle.
