      I think it's getting trickier to get an installed version with a once off payment on any machine, so the notion that MS Office can be bought for £80 seems just a tad out of date. Microsoft seem hell bent on migrating users to a subscription model, and their Office 365 "service." I hope they fail in that endeavour. There are perhaps still ways of getting MS Office on Macs with a valid license, but it's nothing like as easy as it used to be. They no longer supply the software on discs, except for some countries, such as India.

      I went into this in some depth recently, as I wanted an additional licensed version for one of our machines.
