Accessing e-mail.

I have a hotmail account. I access it via Windows Live. Windows Live no longer allows me access.
Can I resurrect my hotmail account and/or E-mails by other means?

If you know your Hotmail password, I think you should be able to log on to it through the web interface. Try www.hotmail.com - it will probably redirect you to an Outlook.com page with a login at login.live.com - but they are all Microsoft so I expect you will be able to get in to it.

I see that you may be able get some log files from the Windows Live mail client which might give a hint about why it has stopped. see http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...e-8bfe6a232f8b

I have spent some time following your links, and I keep going round in circles. In short, I am not allowed to see certain pages, and of those that I can access none of them will let me sign in to what is offered. I found a page which claimed to show me how to upgrade from Hotmail to Outlook - what I wanted - but in the end would not let me complete the process.
I think I'll just let it go. Thanks for your interest.
