        Looks like SD cards are a better bet, as long as you don't use a USB reader/writer with them. However, what lies behind the SD slot on your computer? Is there a possibility that some will use USB firmware? I pose the question. I do not know the answer. Perhaps somebody here does.

          Nudge. If you have not taken note of this news, I think it's time you did. It is indeed decidedly scary.

          Is anyone here able to comment authoritatively on the issue of SD card readers built into laptops, etc. Do they or do they not exploit USB firmware features?
