Is anyone else experiencing a problem of continually having to log in their details when replying to posts on this forum today? I'm wondering why this should be.

No problem with logging on by computer but I find that I now have to log in every time I access the Forum on my Sony Xperia. It's the same with my Hotmail account and in neither case does it 'remember me' next time I try even though I tick the box."The sound is the handwriting of the conductor" - Bernard Haitink

The vBulletin advice that I found was that the problem would be on the 'end-user's computer'.It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I hesitate to offer comments from my experience because I have no real insight into this but am moved to do so since it does seem to driving you nuts. When I clean out cookies - which I do fairly regularly using Ccleaner - I then have to log in again, so I presume details are stored in the cookie. Maybe you are somehow deleting cookies or have opted not to store them .
Even when I do have to re-login after this, though, Firefox immediately fills in the rest of my details and as soon as I enter the first letter of my name and by ticking "remember me", I then don't have to log in any more.
Happy hunting for a solution!
