interesting note on Iplayer/sounds expiry

Currently listening to https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b07cyl3h

It should have expired at 13:00 but that it has not has confirmed for sure what I have thought from other occurrences of this is the case.

You can listen to a programme after it has expired as long as you:

A) Start it any time before expiry (obvs)

B) You can pause the recording and resume after the expiry time as long as you do not refresh the browser (or shutdown your pc etc)

Ah but can you explain why today's "The Listening Service" shows as "Sorry, this episode is not currently available" despite the fact that the programme which followed it is?

alas I cannot. Something odd going on there as next Sundays appears available to listen again to already. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0005gsk I wonder if these are repeats a la The Early Music Show?

Next week's is a repeat from around 13 months ago. Yesterday's was to be a new one. I was not listening at the time of broadcast, so do not know whether the scheduled programme was broadcast or not.
