BBC Sounds: in-app download issues?

Yes still a couple of fails Even on the iPad (the Kolesnikov lunchtime recital just now)

However, THANKS for reminding me of Charles Paris.... I lost him in the download deletions, essential reminder (All 3 have just downloaded with no problem; the Kolesnikov recital still doesn’t )

All still pretty random ....

......and so the pain goes on .... at least among the pit heaps .....

Set off on my walk this morning to find none of my downloads worked ...... deleted and reinstalled and have done one download which seems to work .... I blame the new DG .......

Mention of that demonic creature seems to have scared my iPad into accepting all downloads, 50% success rate on phone too so got some Jazz Record Requests and Sounds of Cinema to be going on with, cycling-wise

Or perhaps a less voodoo-based solution: this just received from the BBC following my notification of the issue a couple of weeks back:

“I'm sorry to see you've been having trouble downloading programmes on the BBC Sounds app on iOS. We discovered an issue with downloading on the app and our technical engineers investigated this as a priority.

I'm happy to let you know that this issue should now be resolved with an update to the BBC Sounds app: version 1.17.1. To update the app, please go to the App Store on your iOS device, search 'BBC Sounds', and tap Update”
