    Truncation of Dramas

Most annoying that the Sounds data people have cut-off the last couple of minutes of the final episode of Victor Hugo's piece, and it's not repeated like some of the serials are on R4!

I've written to them - but I wonder if they actually read complaints. This isn't the first time something's been truncated like that - I'm going to keep a log now.

Do you think it might be at the start of the next programme on the Schedule?

Did you write to them via https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/help/contact/ ? In my experience of the old iPlayer contact system, they usually did what they could, once alerted to a problem.

I have checked that. It's not there. Indeed, the following programme appears to start a little late (no continuity announcement, for instance).

          Unendurable!
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

Is it more than the credits which were lost from the end of episode 2 of the Hunchback of Notre Dame adaptation?

Thanks, I wrote to somewhere on there via a pop-up box. Not sure which email address it went to.

Edit: thanks for that link, Bryn - it seems to ask more relvant questions.

I wouldn't know, I've nothing to compare it to. It was during a conversation between two, and not mid-sentence. I was recording it to listen later.

Update 26/04: I got quite excited when I received a reply directly from them last night. Telling me how they had fixed it! They haven't......It's exactly the same length, stops at exactly the same part.
